Today I ran up a mountain. I wanted to run to Peregrine's Peak. I hadn't been up there before and the trail head is very difficult to find. The last road up to the trail looks like a private driveway. Once I found the trail it was really nice. It headed up the mountain with no downhill at all. This is a great time a year for trail running. I didn't have enough time to make it to the top. I was probably 1 to 1.5 miles from the top when I turned around. I will have to attempt this one again soon.

Sounds fun. I would like to get this one. How high is it?

From Twinkies on Mon, Sep 06, 2010 at 19:17:11 from 67.166.116.191

It around 8700 ft. Some company on my next attempt would be great.

Hey Guys, sorry I haven't blogged for a while. I have been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off...except for the running part.

Looking forward to getting you back Twinkies. I want to get up some peaks this fall, so let me know if you want to get out.

Matt, are you going to be in town this weekend? I'd love to do the Mueller to North Canyon loop. My wife doesn't want me doing it solo, however. Glad you're back.

Kam - I am in Maryland right now and won't be back until Tuesday evening. Next weekend I will be running the Layton Marathon. If you didn't mind only going up to Elephant Rock and back, we could do that early one morning during the week.
