Hi, my name is Matt and I love to run! I especially enjoy trail running. I am married to Susie and we have six children Connor-10, Jed-8, Jaxine-7, Evan-4, Eliza-2, and Susanna-0. Look for me at your next race, I wear the same bright yellow Twinkies shirt at all my races.

Ran a 5k with my kids for their elementary school. Connor PR'ed at 26:43 and Jaxine PR'ed at 38:30. Jed was doing great, but he twisted his ankle after only half a mile and walked the rest of the way. Evan ran too. It was his first 5k. He and I came in at just over an hour.

Awesome. How old is Connor? That's an excellent time. Wait, I see it's listed in your profile info. I'm guessing he's 11 because I assume you put that up in 2009 when you first joined the blog. But if he really is 9, then I'm even more impressed with his time. I'm also 99% sure that Connor is a boy's name, so feel free to punch me if she's a girl.

Connor is 9, but he will be turning 10 next Sunday. And yes, he is a boy. He has ran a few 5k's this year and has done quite well.
