Bonneville Shoreline Trail. I headed out at 5 a.m. today. It was very quiet out today. Just the sound of my footsteps and my breathing. It snowed lightly during most of the run. I tried out my new headlamp today. It has three different brightness setting and worked great. My old headlamp didn't have a strap across the top and would slide down as I ran. The trail was nice today with only a little snow on it and a few muddy spots. Avg pace: 9:51

Sounds like a wonderful run!

I'll be on the trail on Saturday from 9 am on. Hopefully the weather will be decent and the trail will be in good conditions. The only problem I have with that trail are the mountain bikers on weekends.

Lyman - What part of the trail are you going to run? Today I went from the North Salt Lake entrance into City Creek. I may do the same route tomorrow, but won't see you since I have to be done with my run by 7 a.m.

Good job, Matt. Keep up that running.

Got to hand it to you Twinkies, if you are finishing by 7:00 am you are leaving way too early for me. That some serious dedication in this cold weather. We'll be starting from NSL too. Not sure how far we'll go, depending on time and pace, but no more than a couple of hours.
